Table Football Machines Home football tables, or foosball tables, are a superb way to ensure the whole family (or the party) join in the entertainment. They range from compact or tabletop models at 3ft in length, to the larger versions at 4ft and 4ft 6in. and varying styles, from the more traditional wooden finishes to the modern looking metallic finish designs.
As a general rule we would advise you not to purchase the cheapest models as the table quality can improve dramatically for a modest extra cost.
The majority of tables come with self-levelling adjustments to avoid any ‘dead spots’ on the play areas. Those in the higher price ranges can give identical play to tables used in pubs and clubs.

Boxing Machines This year we have more products on offer with the Kicker and the always popular iBoxer.
With the introduction of the smoking ban in mid 2007 it was feared to be a slow year for the pub and club trade, however after an initial slow start punters acclimatised to the new rules and came back in droves, when the punters are outside they could be playing on the Kicker or the Boxer. These machines are completely waterproof and would be great additions to any outside space whether it would be a beer garden or a smokers area.
Non-smokers and smokers alike will stay longer, so boosting profits as they experience the thrill of competing for the highest score. Everyone concerned is a winner. Either way the machines are a good way to entertain customers and make a large profit.

Jukeboxes Coin-operated music boxes and player pianos were the first forms of automated coin-operated musical devices. These were soon followed in the 1890s by coin-operated phonographs. The introduction of recording on wax cylinder records made possible records which could survive many plays, and early operators converted cylinder phonographs to accept a coin, usually a nickel, which unlocked the mechainsm, allowing the listener to turn a crank which simultaneously wound the spring motor and placed the reproducer's stylus in the starting groove. Frequently exhibitors would equip many of these machines with listening tubes (acoustic headphones) and array them in "phonograph parlors" allowing the patron to select between multiple records, each played on its own machine. Some machines even contained carousels and other mechanisms for playing multiple records. However, by the early 1900s the novelty of the phongraph wore off and this, combined with the advent of phonographs in the home, as well as the increasing sophistication and volume of mechanical orchestrions in public facilities, led to the decline of the coin-operated phonograph industry. |
